Israeli Counterterrorism Expert Discusses Future of Peace Negotiations in Middle East

There may be new opportunities for successful peace negotiations in the Middle East, in the wake of the death of Hamas leader Yaya Sinwar, the architect of Hamas’ brutal October 7, 2023 terrorist attack that killed 1,200 civilians including Israelis, Americans and other nationalities, according to BK Blankchtein, a member of the Israeli Defense Forces reserves and a counterterrorism expert.

Blankchtein spoke with SBN News Director Steve Lubetkin recently, before leaving the US for another tour of duty with the IDF.

About the Guest

BK Blankchtein joined the IDF in 1993 and served as a recon unit team member. Most recently he deployed and served with other special operations units as part of the Iron Sword war campaign in response to the Oct. 7 attack.

Blankchtein holds a BA in Counterterrorism and International Security from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Security Management from American Military University. He is a speaker and security consultant for various organizations nationally.
