Manufacturing Day Conference Draws 1,000 to Freehold

FREEHOLD, NJ (SBN) — More than 1,000 people journeyed to the Monmouth County seat last Friday for the first Manufacturing Day conference in three years, as the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) hosted a day of panels on critical issues in manufacturing.

NJMEP, a not-for-profit organization that improves the profitability and competitiveness of New Jersey’s manufacturers, spotlighted the importance of manufacturing to the New Jersey economy through conversations about best practices and awards honoring leaders in the manufacturing industry.

State Broadcast News was there and this week on our Radio Jersey newscasts we’ll be spotlighting interviews with conference participants.

You can hear longer versions of the interviews we conducted in the podcast below.
