New Jersey Mourns Former Governor Florio, Dead at 85

Words of praise continue to pour in for former New Jersey Governor Jim Florio, who died over the weekend at age 85.

Florio was best remembered for his legislation banning assault weapons in New Jersey, for remediating polluted sites through the SuperFund legislation he introduced, and for his support for transportation and infrastructure.
