Delaware Valley choirs perform in Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ—(SBN)—Six choirs from around the Delaware Valley performed Sunday afternoon at Temple Emanuel in Cherry Hill as part of the 52nd annual Delaware Valley Jewish Choral Festival. The choirs included Kol Emanuel from Temple Emanuel, the Congregation B’nai Tikvah-Beth Israel choir from Washington Township, NJ; the Singing Hearts Choral Society of Southern New Jersey, Congregation Adath Emanu-El’s Women’s Choir from Evesham Township, the Beth El Adult Choir from Cherry Hill; and Nashirah, the Jewish Chorale of Greater Philadelphia.

You can listen to a news report on the program featuring comments from music director Julia Zavadsky, who led three of the choirs and helped organize the concert, and Neil Schnitzer, cantor at Temple Emanuel, which hosted the event for the second straight year.
